Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the GuestLens iOS app ("GuestLens", "the app"), operated by Petter Vang Brakalsvålet ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Your use is also subject to Apple's Standard EULA, which applies in addition to these terms.
Using GuestLens
GuestLens lets a host create an event and invite guests to share photos and videos into a shared gallery. You must be old enough to use the app under the laws of your country, or use it with the approval of a parent or guardian. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and videos you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the service — to show it to the host and guests of the same event and deliver the features you use. You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to share it.
Acceptable use
Don't upload content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or that violates others' privacy, and don't upload anyone's image without their consent where consent is required. Don't misuse the service, attempt to break its security, or use it to harm others. We may remove content and suspend or close access to events that break these rules. Hosts and guests can also report and request removal of content in-app.
In-app purchases
Hosts can buy storage plans as one-time in-app purchases through Apple. These purchases are consumable and non-refundable except where required by law. Prices and plan limits are shown in the app before purchase. Apple handles payment; we never see your card details. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its terms.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep GuestLens available and reliable but provide it "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and events and their media are automatically purged after the event's retention period ends.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of content beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Keep your own copies of anything important — download the memories you want to keep.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
